In a standing position, rotate your arm in a clockwise direction to make a small circle. Gradually increase the size of the circle to the maximum you can comfortably do. Do ten rotations. Now do the same in an anti-clockwise direction for ten rotations. Repeat exercise with the other arm. This exercise loosens the joint and strengthens the rotator cuff muscles.
